Exploring a more organic form for the condiments server and incoroprating different materials. Giving the containers a slanted edge unlike the traditional flat edge to give the whole form a 3-sided pyramid like structure when put together with the base of the server. Also keeping the containers big enough to use the server of other things other than condiments like candy or nuts. The form was designed to be used as a center piece to a dining table.
Exploring geometric shapes to create the form and adding smoothened out edges to give the form a soft and pleasant look and feel. Also extending the base for the containers to accompany a serving utensil for the condiments. Creating a balance between stainless steel and wood in such a way that both complement each other. Giving the lids of the containers a knob and the base, handles for easy carriage and usage. Giving a height to the base of the condiments server by adding feet to the base. Trying to keep the whole form as simple as possible considering the functionality of the product.
